Secretary General's Office;The Public Sector Management Act, 1997 outlines the statutory responsibility of the Secretary General for managing the Department, implementing Government policies, delivering outputs, preparing a Statement of Strategy and providing advice to the Minister and assignment of functions to the Deputy Secretary and the Assistant Secretaries. The Secretary General is assisted by the Management Board which is the primary corporate decision-making forum of the Department.
